'Choking Game' Death Ruled Accidental
AP) URBANA, Md. The state medical examiner says this month's choking death of a 15-year-old Urbana student has been ruled accidental.
William Bowen was found dead March 14th at his home on Thurston Road. Authorities say he had a ligature around his neck and was asphyxiated.
Local schools sent letters to parents after his death about a choking game, in which people cut off their air supply with a rope, a belt or someone else's help. The goal is to pass out and then get a brief high when oxygen rushes back to the brain. "
